Hi,
I'm using plasma 5.7.3-2 on fedora 24. I've noticed a change of behaviour recently with notifications from windows that are grouped in the taskbar. I am using the skype desktop client (the old one, not the current alpha), and have plasma configured to group windows of that application in the taskbar. In previous updates, whenever there was a reply in one of the chats, the corresponding window would be "popped out" of the group in the taskbar and highlighted in the taskbar. Now, with this version, the group itself gets highlighted, and you have to click the group, then click the highlighted window. Does that make sense ? It's not great for usability because when there are multiple replies in separate chats, you don't get to see and access easily each of them. Also, if there active chats you're less interested in, the group item in the taskbar will always be "highlighted" and hide out other notifications. Is there a way to get back this behaviour by configure or modifying a qml file or otherwise ? Thanks! |
