Hi together!

Recently i installed the plasma-meta-5.7.4 package on my gentoo. I'd like to replace the default windowmanager with i3. There are some articles and posts about it[0], but they just change the systemsettings>>applications>>default applications>>windowmanager setting after installing their favourite WM. Unfortunately, i don't have this setting (all the other 4 default application-entrys are there) and i have the /usr/share/ksmserver/windowmanagers folder neither. Before i used Gentoo, i had the Kubuntu-16.04 for a few month, and there i had this setting, but it was plasma version 5.6.2 i think.

Can someone tell me if this is because of the newer version of Plasma or because i have to install some additional stuff?

Cheers

If I remember correctly the setting is gone, it might still be available in some config file. Maybe dig through the change log / code of the config dialog or wait for Martin to step by.

I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.
