Hello,

I've just installad plasma-workspace on my Archlinux and I would like to change the default window manager to i3.
On many tutorials, they tell that the Default Applications settings propose a window manager option, but I don't have it.
Why is it so?
How can I replace Kwin by i3?

Have you tried ?

Arch Linux KDE wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/KDE
--> Using an alternative window manager: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/KD ... ow_manager

the 'Note' part...

Thank you, it was exactly what I needed to know!

It's a bit hard to integrate i3-gaps within kde, probably because I have a two monitors... I might stick with Kwin finally!
Thanks again !
