Hi,

(sorry for my poor english)
I just upgraded from KDE 4 to Plasma under Gentoo Linux, and I always have a problem I had with KDE 4 for years.
Each time I close and restart my KDE/Plasma graphic session, I can't connect dbus anymore :
Code: Select all
$ qdbus
Could not connect to D-Bus server: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoServer: Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-ZwpasUXmmF: Connexion refuse

And there's no /tmp/dbus*
Even if I restart dbus + consolekit + sddm.
I use Openrc, and my /home is NFS mount.

What can I give you as detail to find why ?

Code: Select all
$ equery l dbus
[IP-] [  ] sys-apps/dbus-1.10.12:0
$ equery l plasma-meta
[IP-] [  ] kde-plasma/plasma-meta-5.8.3:5
$ equery l plasma-workspace
[IP-] [  ] kde-plasma/plasma-workspace-5.8.3-r4:5
$ equery l openrc
[IP-] [  ] sys-apps/openrc-0.22.4:0
$ uname -a
Linux cored 4.4.26-gentoo #1 SMP Thu Oct 27 01:25:04 AST 2016 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Thank you by advance.

Oh, I just found that when I unset DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS, it works again...
I have a look to what's setting it when I stop plasma session.
