Problem: often, when I finish a kde-session, I forget about the active or paused jobs of file-operations (copy, move, delete) . Now the session comes to the end without any notification messages about it. I Begin to tear to myself hair (Look, you see my big bald head! :'( ).
In this situation can you add warning-window with list of current active and paused jobs of file-operations and with buttons: force leave, leave after end active jobs, run paused jobs and leave after end all jobs (if paused jobs exist), cancel leave?
Also it can be useful when transfer large volume of data, and need disable/sleep computer after this. I think it will be a demanded function.

PS At now i work in Kubuntu 14.04 (Plasma 4). Sorry if my english bad - i don't know this language.

if I correctly understood KShutdown only switches off the computer in the preset time with GUI, but it is solved from the console: sudo shutdown - h 1:00.
But speed of transfer may be strongly change (for example by transmission on a network) that doesn't allow to time precisely calculate. If in KShutdown select variant shutdowm after end process - what process is responsible for copying? And it is only a part of a problem. But for aiming thanks.
Main goals:
1) to notify that file-transfer is active or paused before leave (MAIN!!!);
2) to process an event of the end of the active file-transfer job or paused file-transfer job (Bonus).
You may see and manage this jobs at system notifications widget from panel. But KDE not have notification about this jobs if you shutdown - it shan't be.
At first I thought that it is necessary to add checkbox "switch off power after end" to a widget of system notification messages, but absence of warning in case of an output suggested me an idea that it is better to add both of these tasks to scripts of leave. If to make so, then the user will be able to select that it is necessary for him (switching off, sleep and etc)

PS file transfer process it is kio-file, and goal 2) may be do with KShutdown(thank you again), though it isn't absolutely visual and transfer jobs may be not one at once. But goal 1) remained not solved.

PPS process of kio_file surely accompanies with copying, but there is still some time after its termination so it not copying. So probably after all, implement verification of presence directly of jobs, better do as it does a widget of system notification messages. That is the request remains in force, probably...
