switching between activities

Wed Mar 01, 2017 2:24 pm
LM 17.3 KDE

On 2 out of my 3 installations, of the same SW, I could switch between activities using the middle click on the desktop/acitivity. A menu opened and I could the select the activity I wanted to use next.

On my last installation, the middle click adds a yellow Note on the desktop/acitivity but does not allow to switch activities.

Where an how can the behaviour of the middle click be changed that I can switch activities?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for the excellent display. However this is not Linux Mint 17.3 KDE. I looks to me as it is LM 18.1 KDE and this has a different setting structure.

Do you also have the solution for LM 17.3 KDE?

Please, when posting to the KDE forums use the KDE/Plasma versions. Distribution versions only mean something to the distribution users.

Guessing that the 'LM 17.3 KDE' is using KDE4/Plasma 4. With the KDE 4 the mouse/containment action settings are something like:

'right-click onto your desktop, select "Folder View Settings" -> Mouse Actions and the context menu:'

Thank you so much for your help!!!
Problem is solved and a lesson learned.

As for KDE / Plasma versions, I understand and will do so next time.

Again, thanks!!!
