Okay, I looked around for a topic on this, but haven't come up with anything. What I'm wanting to do is replace the Plasma 5 version of Klipper with either the 4x version or perhaps a better clipboard utility. I say that because the Plasma 5 version of Klipper is useless and annoying as heck. But the Plasma 4/KDE 4x klipper worked great! It's one of the things I miss after having upgraded to 5x via the latest Kubuntu LTS release. I'm hoping there's something out there as I'd like to get back to having a useful clipboard utility again like 4x had.

There are two user interfaces for the Klipper: The old Klipper and the new Clipboard widget: http://blog.martin-graesslin.com/blog/2 ... n-klipper/
You could pick the interface - earlier: viewtopic.php?f=289&t=135553#p362672 Other: - Xclip: https://sourceforge.net/projects/xclip/ -> https://github.com/astrand/xclip - CopyQ: https://hluk.github.io/CopyQ/ - etc... -> Arch list of clipboard managers: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/cl ... d_managers |

I am at changing (a totally new installation) from Kubuntu 01-04 to KDEneon. There are some changes I am not really happy with them. Among them is Klipper.
I did read the response to the question and hope somebody can tell me what I really have to do that I can get Klipper or whatever it is called now. The link has not really helped me, neither the other links.
Best greetings from Scotland's nicest holiday island.
