I'm trying to install chrome remote desktop on an Arch Linux install, I currently use KDE Plasma. When Chrome Remote Desktop tries to start an X session with KDE (by executing /usr/bin/startkde) I get the following error.

Code: Select all
[0311/212016.907903:INFO:remoting_me2me_host.cc(558)] Processing new host configuration.
startkde: Starting up...
dbus-update-activation-environment: error: unable to connect to D-Bus: Using X11 for dbus-daemon autolaunch was disabled at compile time, set your DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS instead
startkde: Could not sync environment to dbus.

Does anyone recognise this error?

Many distributions have own forums and the distribution specific things will find solutions quickly (hopely ;) ) at the distribution forums. Arch Linux Forums: https://bbs.archlinux.org

If I search with the 'dbus-daemon autolaunch was disabled at compile time' the first hit is: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=217281
