I often write Python scripts, some of which I added to the menu, with their own icon.

Yet when I run them I always end up with the icon shown in the bottom panel as: https://imgur.com/a/WD0LJ

I'm running KDE 4.14.7 with fedora fc20

I see that this question was asked in the past https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=97750 and there's no easy solution (apart from the fact that I dont have any plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc file) - something changed since then?
