5.9.4 Cursor Ghost Container

Mon May 08, 2017 11:34 am
I've stood up Kubuntu 17.04, Nvidia 860M, and so far tried 378.13 and 381.09 drivers from graphics-drivers.

The symptom is odd to describe:
- give a eg 40px X 40px "box" surrounding the cursor, typically fully transparent,
said box/shadow tends to get dragged along, but then stuck, with a previous background,
positioned between a window target and the cursor itself. Especially noticeable with focus in an
input element, or anywhere a tooltip can be displayed.

- here's the .config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini
Code: Select all
[Settings]
gtk-font-name=Noto Sans 10
gtk-theme-name=Breeze
gtk-icon-theme-name=breeze
gtk-fallback-icon-theme=gnome
gtk-toolbar-style=GTK_TOOLBAR_ICONS
gtk-menu-images=1
gtk-button-images=1

Really not sure what else I can provide.
