Hi all,

I'm quite new in the kde world! I used gnome for years now, but I wanted to switch and test plasma. I like it!
I just have a question: why my login screen is different from the lock screen?

I installed a fresh new parabola on my computer and installed plasma and sddm as it is the recommanded display manager for plasma.
My login screen looks exactly like the screenshoot on sddm github here: https://github.com/sddm/sddm which is not that good looking. My lock screen is like this one http://i1-news.softpedia-static.com/images/news2/kde-plasma-5-10-desktop-environment-to-ship-with-virtual-keyboard-on-lock-screen-513765-2.jpg. On system settings I can change background for the lock screen but nothing for the login screen. Strangely, the lock screen is mentionned as sddm... I don't understand..

Is this behaviour normal? (I mean having different login screen and lock screen?)

(Sorry for my poor english)
Thanks for your help!

The Display Manager (your login screen) is independent from the desktop environment used, so yes it can look different from the lock screen. Your distro is using a different theme for SDDM than the normal Breeze theme. On Neon my SDDM theme is identical to the lock screen. You should be able to find the Breeze SDDM them in your repos.
