Is there any way to sync workspaces in KDE or any DE or any OS for that matter? There is browser tab syncing, but it would be pretty awesome if one could sync one's laptop and desktop sessions.

I know that KDE can save sessions. Is there a way to symlink that file in e.g. dropbox so that one could at least logout and back in to restore the session from the other computer?
