Hi, is possible somehow to change meta key shortcut? Exactly what will be opened, when I press meta key, I can't find any info about this, I know that meta key is modifier and I can set up something like meta+z in settings - shortcuts to open krunner, but would be nice to have possibility to open krunner on meta key press.
Thank you for any suggestions. |

You'll need a little app to change the super key function (you may already have it)
https://www.linux-apps.com/content/show ... ent=154569 About 1/3 of the way down the page, they even give an example of how to open krunner ![]() |

Many thanks @johnpaulding, this put me on the right way, this little utility looks good, the other choice seems to be xev and ~/.xmodmaprc or xmodmap. I try it later and let know about a result certainly. |

Actually, that depends on if you are using KDE 4 or 5. In KDE 4 the kuperkey app was necessary to bind modifier keys. In KDE 5 that's built-in, and the Meta key should default to opening the application menu. You can change the binding for krunner by going into System Settings -> Shortcuts and Gestures -> Global Keyboard Shortcuts -> Run Command Interface -> Run Command.
