Hi all,
I am new to KDE and I was checking the "picture of the day" option in lock screen. But it seems that it is not working as expected. All I see is black screen with login fields. Am I doing something wrong ? Path to the settings is desktop behavior >> screen locking >> wallpaper |

The lock screen disallows Internet access: https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/7 ... round_not/
As workaround you could use the wallpaper POTD and symlink the $HOME/.cache/plasmashell/plasma_engine_potd/ directory to $HOME/.cache/kscreenlocker_greet/plasma_engine_potd/. Another workaround is to write a POTD plasmoid to download the wallpapers: viewtopic.php?f=289&t=142331 |

Thanks a lot. Its strange that POTD option for is not removed if it is not meant to work for lock screen. I will try the symlink option. I guess another option would be to slide show the wallpaper POTD directory. |
