Panels don't remember monitors anymore

Hi all,

I use to work on my laptop with openSUSE Leap 42.2 with KDE 5.8 LTS and I was able to set different panels for my dual display set: one different panel for my external monitor as primary display; one different panel (e.g. with auto-hide enabled) when the second display is plugged out and the laptop display is the only one. It used to do that automatically.

However, now that I got a new laptop and only openSUSE tumbleweed runs on it, my KDE plasma 5.11 doesn't do that anymore. Once I plug out my secondary display, I always get on my laptop screen the panel I have set on my HDMI display before (that was primary), and vice-versa.

I appreciate any help.

Thanks,
