Greetings,
I just installed Fedora on my box and then wanted to try KDE ver. 4 which I did, I then started to try and change the background to a much brighter colour. Well I did something wrong because the whole desktop is black except when I manage to click the logout and then a white image with no letters, icons or numbers appear but I'm at least able to log out. How can I correct this? my other user desktop is OK I didn't mess that one up when I set it up but mine is in bad shape. Thanks in advance for any help you can pass along to me for fixing this problem. Try removing the files ~/.kde4/share/config/plasmarc and ~/.kde4/share/config/plasma-appletsrc for the user that is affected. If you are running *buntu intrepid then exchange .kde4 for .kde
