Ubuntu 16.04 - gnome-session.

This is frustrating to me...
The software ran fine, I dragged an .mp4 into a listbox of some kind and it played, kool, but as soon as I clicked a button on the main screen
that box went away. The program fundamentally changed its layout. I cannot find a Reset to Defaults anywhere. No import option that I can find.
So, I cannot load a .mp4 anymore. So, I deleted the program, re-download and ran again, but It must have stuck some settings somewhere, Thus, it managed to break itself
just because I tried to use it. What a joke ! I'm in gnome-session. I checked my /home dir for a settings file, I can't find how to start over with the software.
This is a fundamental issue, It should be one of the first things that ANY software can do, is Reset itself on command. It saved it's state somewhere that I cant find.

What can I do ? How do I fix it ?
Thanks for the support,
Allen B.

Oh, Ok I found something under views that helps a little, but now the dumb area where you view the clip drops down and covers the clip play/edit controls. Who knows how to fix that? I can only see a few pixels where the controls should be ? Restarting didn't help :(

What program/app are you using?
I don't see anything in your comments which relates to KDE software.

I'd suggest you ask about this over in the Ubuntu forums.
