Suspending compositor effects

Wed Apr 25, 2018 4:02 pm
Where disappeared option to suspend compositor effects in fullscreen apps in settings? This option was boosting performance in a lot of fullscreen apps like games or just while watching full-screen videos on YouTube in KDE Plasma 5.6. Where I can find this option now? I know that i can use "Window Rules" to 'automatic' suspend, but i think that KDE Plasma should do it automatic just after pressing F11 in Web Browser. Why other Linux DE's have checkbox to automatic suspend (Budgie, Cinnamon and XFCE) or just do it automaticly (Unity, Gnome, MATE) while KDE doesn't have this option? And i know that I can press Shift + Alt + F12, but pressing it everytime I switch into full-screen is quite frustrating.

I think they just changed the name to "Allow applications to block compositor" in the Display settings.
