Custom global shortcuts do not work

In Kubuntu 18.04, my custom global shortcuts do not work. However, if I run
pkill kglobalaccel5; sleep 1; kgloabalaccel5 & custom global shortcuts work. However I have to do this every time I login. Is there a way to resolve this issue? |
