Device Notifier and external encrypted hard drive

Hi all:

When I plug a usb device on my PC, device notifier pops up a notification with the name of the device and the preset actions to take. I then choose one option (e.g. "Open with file manager") and dolphin shows the contents of the device. All good!

However, when I plug my LUKS encrypted USB drive, I get the notification but when I click on it, nothing happens. In order to mount it and access its contents I need to open a Dolphin window, click on the device (on places/removable devices) and then the system asks for the password. I type the password, press ok and then I get the message
"An error occurred while accessing 'Backups', the system responded: The device is already mounted: Device /dev/dm-3 is already mounted at `/run/media/XXXXX/Backups'."
When I click the folder, then the contents show up.

I remember that the behaviour with external encrypted devices was always like what I described for non-encrypted ones. A few weeks (2 months?) ago problems started occurring but were fixed by upgrading KDE frameworks (I thing it was a problem with Solid). However, the fix was only for non-encrypted devices. I've waited until the release of Plasma 5.13, hoping that the new version could fix the problem. It didn't...

Does anyone else has this problem? Any hints?

thanks in advance:
