Just installed the newest version of Plasma under Mint 19, and find the lock timeout value not changeable anywhere.
It seems that the screen continues to timeout, no matter where I attempt to change the value for a timeout. there does not seem to be an obvious setting to control this, and don't know the proper value to manipulate using Konsole and an editor. I would appreciate some direction for a KDE newbie. Remember giving it a go many, many years ago, when a finished product was just a glimmer in someone's eye. TIA! Harry |

Configure screen locking
KDE System Settings > Desktop Behavior > Screen Locking Konsole - start single system settings module:
KDE System Settings - Search: lock ![]() |

'Could not find module 'screenlocker'. See kcmshell5 --list for the full list of modules.'
Saw the previous posting and tried the command before. Any ideas? Thanks. Harry |

Mint is using Debian package management ? Is the package: 'kde-config-screenlocker' installed ? |

Oh yes, naturally tried searching under workspace behaviour and under system settings and under any tree I could for settings for 'lock', that I could, and it revealed no available setting.
Forgot to add that! Regards Harry |
