Hi, I am currently running through the kde neon upgrade to ubuntu base 18.04 and i've stopped at a point where it says it will remove the plasma-desktop amongst some other programs like libreoffice. ! Surely this isn't right is it?

I think I saw that the package may have been renamed to plasma-workspace. So I'd suggest comparing the list of things to be removed with the list of things to be installed to verify that it isn't removing things you believe you need without providing replacements.
