I edited the lockscreen UI code to try to allow the up/down arrows to remove the UI but I somehow managed to bork it so that I don't see any UI, no login/password, no session, nothing! Here's what I copy/pasted:
viewtopic.php?f=289&t=137721&p=405900#p405900 I'd appreciate any help as I'm stuck and can't login or do anything since this is a laptop which doesn't allow easy access to the battery to do a hard reset! Thanks |

The sessions can be unlocked with the command:
More:
=> 1) Log in with the virtual console: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_console Example, press : Ctrl + Alt + F5 Log in. 2) Type
3) Jump to the unlocked session with the Ctrl + Alt + function key At here it is Ctrl + Alt + F1 |

Thank you very much Rog131.
Following your clear instructions I was able to get into virtual console with ctrl + alt + F5 and was able to use the cmd
Any idea why the ctrl + alt + F1 did not work? it put me back into the lockscreen! so I just used the shutdown cmd to get out and start up the computer again More importantly, what was wrong with the code that I copy/pasted in the original thread? did I put it in the wrong place within the unlockscreen qml file? |

What was the output of the ?
Any error messages ? You also should/could (working here):
=> session id and then with the session id
If you start the lock greeter in testing mode it should show what is the problem. |
