Can't set more workspaces than 2

Sun Nov 23, 2008 4:24 pm
Hi everyone!

I'm new user of KDE and I have a problem (I think it's quite simple though)
I can't set more workspaces than 2 from the multiple desktop settings (I want to set it to 4). After I apply the settings it doesn't change the number and after I open it again it just goes back to default values (2).

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Sorry if this has been solved in another thread. I did a small search and I didn't find any posts about this problem.

Could you please provide some more information? E.g. your KDE version and you distro. That could help to nail it down.

Sure thing.

According to "About KDE" window my KDE version is 4.1.2
As for the distro, it's Ubuntu (I installed KDE on the normal Ubuntu which still has gdm and GNOME)
