My monitors will not stay off when using energy saving. As soon as the monitors say "no signal"/etc., they immediately come back on. This repeats every few minutes when I do not use the computer.
I think this is a KDE problem because I've had it happen with KDE on both Kubuntu 18.10/19.04 and OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, but never with GNOME/Unity on Mint/Ubuntu or Windows 10. I don't think it's mouse input. I have used both a USB and Bluetooth mouse, and it still happens without a mouse connected at all. Both monitors are connected to my AMD RX 470 graphics card via HDMI. Is there anything I can try to fix this? Please let me know if there's anything you'd like me to try or any commands you'd like me to send the output of. I've been struggling with this for months and I'm entirely stumped because nobody else seems to have this issue. |
