Virtual desktops (KUbuntu) - Settings missing

I've been struggling to get Virtual desktops to work as I see examples of, online.

My OS: KUbuntu 19.04, KDE Plasma 5.15.4, KDE 5.56.0

I have two issues (that maybe are the same):

A - The systems settings dialog for Virtual Desktops is missing a dialog tab (for switching and keyboard behavior). There's supposedly two tabs in this dialog (Desktops, Switching). However, for me only the first is present.

B - Also the present page is a bit different, in that it does not allow for specifying the name of each desktop (they are given default, non editable names: Desktop 1, Desktop 2, New Desktop).

How I think it's supposed to look http://takingnothingforgranted.com/wp-content/uploads/KDE-Virtual-Desktop-Settings.png

Here's what it looks like for me: https://ibb.co/GpBVKFC

Any advice appreciated. I'd like to set individual names for each virtual desktop AND be able to switch between them using my keyboard.

Thanks.

The first link is broken, but the image seems to be from an article that is from 2016, and there have been changes since then.
I don't have Plasma 5.15, but in 5.16, you just have to click the entry to see an Edit and a Delete icon appear for each virtual desktop. I imagine it is the same in the previous version.

There is only one tab now as (I think) both have been combined into one, and you are not missing any options or features.

Thanks, but as you see in my image, there is no button to edit the name (or any other property) of a virtual desktop.

When I left click the name (like "New desktop"), nothing happens.

When I right click it I get a "What's this?" menu. Clicking that, it says "Virtual desktops".

So, really, I see no option of editing these labels for each virtual desktop.

I'll grab a 19.04 iso and run it and see what it looks like.
My 19.04 has Plasma 5.16.5 from the PPA, and I can easily edit the name.

I get the edit and remove icons on a stock Kubuntu 19.04.

An idea, longshot, might be to drag the window wider and see if that does anything, though I doubt it will help

Thanks for testing it out. My dialog looks very much the same as yours... except for buttons to edit each line.

I also made it a lot wider, snapshot here: https://ibb.co/F3gWmLc.

I guess I have to live with it, I might try an upgrade to 19.10, maybe that fixes it.

You might also try upgrading Plasma first, unless you are not invested in your current setup, or don't mind doing a full upgrade
