Hi,
On my computer I have "Restore previous session" turned on. I also have VNC server for virtual (headless) session set up according to https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ti ... ystem_mode . Now when I connect into the VNC server, KDE will try to restore last session. I wonder if there's any way to avoid this? Ideally, I would like it to remember 2 sets of different sessions, local and remote, and restore accordingly. Second to ideal would be to remember local session but start blank session on remote login. Is this possible? I've found that the session (opened applications) information is being stored in ~/.config/ksmserverrc , it doesn't look like the file distinguishes between different sessions in any way. Another way to achieve this may be to tweak ~/.vnc/xstartup ? How should I write xstartup to achieve this? Thanks. Which exact Plasma version and distribution do you use? This is a basic information needed to make answering easier...
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
