switching to the old kde

qdgqdg Registered Member Posts 1 Karma 0	switching to the old kde Tue Nov 25, 2008 3:36 am I recently upgraded to ubuntu 8.10 and it seemed to have automatically installed the new version 4.1.3 of kde. After a few weeks i have still found nothing but frustration from this version of kde. i don't know if this is due to kde 4 or due to the plasma desktop, which I don't see an alternative to. is there an easy way to switch back to the old desktop? with or without kde4?
