I just installed the brandnew kubuntu 8.10 with KDE 4 and I noticed dolphin now can add tags to files thanks to soprano+nepomuk.
I was wandering if one can add a "color tag" to a file, so that its name framed in a coloured shape. This is clearly inspired by the labelling feature of Mac OS X, or maybe the assosiation of colors to file-type in bash ... Is that already available and I just missed it? what you think about this feature? Roberto |

No, is not there yet.
And I can Image that that could somehow usable. But on the other side: How to you color something if it is of 3 tag at the same time? But, I hope in the longterm we will see a deeper integration of Nepomuk features into Dolphin. (for example filter the currrent view by Nepomuk data, more annotion possitibilites (like saying, this is a picture with person x on it)). But, Nepomuk is very new and on the other side lacks development man power. But it is stabilizing and I think with KDE 4.3 we will see a deeper integration throughout KDE. With KDE 4.2, we will see a new and improved strigiservice, lots of bugfixes and probably most important: The Nepomuksearch kio slave and search krunner (for ALT+F2).
