On my G700 mouse i have macros mapped to 4 additional buttons on the side == Ctrl + C, LMB -> Ctrl + V, LMB -> Ctrl+ t, LMB -> Ctrl + w and one macro mapped to the button at the top (LMB -> F5). They are saved on mouse internal memory. On Kubuntu 18.04 they worked flawlesly. After upgrade to Kubuntu 20.04 they stopped at first. Then i rebooted couple times and they worked again after some particular reboot. But now whenever i turn my laptop they not working again. Because they are saved in mouse internal memory i assume that they are being overwritten by something. But what it may be?

How is this mouse connected? Hardware management is usually done on the kernel level, I very much doubt this is linked to Plasma
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
