How do I get a normal application menu instead of the global menu or the burger menu?
I just want a plain normal in application "File, Edit, ...." menu in every application. I have tried removing the global menu, removing the burger menu, disabling "application menus demon" from background services and restart. Nothing seems to give me the normal application menu. I've searched the internet for solutions and this forum, but can't seem to find a way to make this happen. Is it not possible? Have I overlooked something simple? It have to be possible. In advance, Thank you for your input and help to resolve this. |

in any application, Ctrl+M should show the menu.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Then you need to make sure the Global Menu is not running, this can be changed in the System Settings:
System Settings -> Appearance -> Application Style -> Window Decorations: Make sure the Application Menu button is not in the title bar, only the normal Menu button FWIW: you might have to log out and back in again for it to take effect
