Problems w/KDE-Wayland and Activities

Using up-to-date Fedora 33 with KDE-Wayland has shown some problems when using the Firefox browser. I've posed this to the Fedora forums with no response so far.

I've set up my Dell Inspirion with 2 Activities. When I bring up FF or Thunderbird, the apps appear in both activities. I tried to use the "Configure Windows Manager" option in both to make sure they appears in only the current activity. Selecting "Current Activity" in the task switcher does nothing.

On a whim, I tried to open the "Configure Special Application Settings" option and found it comes up blank/black. An entry does appear in my taskbar for it, and right-clicking on that gives me an option to "Show in Activities" (which includes All Activities and the current activity). Selecting that does nothing.

Another minor problem is that the box containing the menu items does not stay open consistently, but closes as if the cursor has been moved after a right click. This is not a problem in the non-Wayland version of KDE.

So, is it me or my Dell laptop? Or are others experiencing these types of problems? Has any work-around been found?
Thanks.

aaannnnddddd 4 months later, the situation is still not addressed, much less resolved. If apps (especially well-used apps like Firefox and Thunderbird) are going to appear in all activities, then the very idea of "activities" has been proven to be a mistake. Worse, it was self-inflicted, since virtual desktops provided the same functionality perfectly well (until some functions were removed from VDs, actually).

[Ranting continues]
Because Wayland is becoming the default for F34 in mere weeks, this becomes a serious defect in KDE.

Still a WIP?

I do not recall noticing Firefox having the behavior you are seeing, but I have not tested Wayland much in the past month or so.

Thanks, Claydoh.
I see that KDE 5.22 isn't scheduled for release until early June, which will be about a month after F34 is released. Sigh.
At least they explicitly say that Plasma will "mostly" work with Activities on Wayland. That's better, but it still proves to me that Activities were themselves ill-conceived. They provide no functionality that wasn't provided by virtual desktops until some of that functionality was removed.

I'd argue that Activities definitely had more functionality and options over the simple and plain Virtual desktops of the day when Activities were first introduced ~2008. Unique sets of widgets and icons, etc. Even individual panels (or no panel) if you use Latte.
I myself do not not see the point of virtual desktops, and Activities are far more useful and versatile, for my uses.

But for sure desktops and activities have been muddled and befuddled .
