Yesterday, I updated kde frameworks to 5.77 from 5.74 (I'm using Gentoo). After logging out and in again, now neither krunner nor the kde menu list any applications. This is inconvenient, as I cannot start anything. (I'm lucky I had an active Firefox session open, so that I can still do some things.) This happens with my personal user account and not with a test account on the same machine. Therefore, I think some parts of my user account's configuration became corrupted, but do not know what (i would guess that deleting the corrupted file could fix things). I know that there is no problem with the applications I managed to test (e.g., because they are available via a shortcut or because they are viewers for files downloaded via Firefox).

Does anyone know at which configuration files I should look or what else could be the matter?
