Hello!

When I go to upload an image file I have to press the Show Preview button every time. I would like it enabled by default.

I am using KDE Plasma and Chromium on arch linux.

Does anybody know how to make this the default? I have previews enabled in Dolphin.

Thank you

Update: I have been looking into this more and discovered using 'top' that the file picker is from kdialog --getopenfilename

it does not seem to be respecting the [KFileDialog Settings] Show Inline Previews=true option from ~/.config/kdeglobals. It does seem to actually change this option depending on whether i have previews on or off when I close the kdialog.

I found that other people had this same problem, with the option to show previews not being saved.

This looks like a bug to me, you should report this on the bug tracker at https://bugs.kde.org

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
