There has been confusion lately with the current state of a virtual keyboard in Plasma. I recently discovered that the QT5 one has been dropped but there have been no alternatives suggested. I have found a commit regarding this that uses the Maliit keyboard, but there are no guides on how to make this work or function. I also notice that Maliit uses QT4.7 which I think makes it a bad solution anyway. Is there no to use the QT5 one at all? Any suggestions that integrate properly would be great ( something onboard does not do)
