When I search for a particular application name in my Application Menu, there are two similar results. How can I control the order in which they appear?

The issue is that the item I use 99.9% of the time appears second, and the item I rarely use appears first - so when I type its name and press 'enter,' the wrong one gets launched. I've tried everything I can think of, but KDE refuses to switch the order. I've tried swapping them in the KDE Menu Editor, but it makes no difference. I've tried renaming them to reverse their alphabetical order, but it likewise makes no difference.

How does KDE decide the order of the search results it shows in the application menu?
