I ran dnf update and the next reboot my KDE panel was gone, the one with the icons of my open apps and when I recreated it it's blank. I open a konsole and expect an icon to show in in the panel - nada. I open a browser - still blank. I did get the Circle F icon back which overlays my entire screen with someones idea of what "I" want - wrong. How do get my open apps back on the panel? Thanks |

I don't know what you mean by "dnf update", but did you change the changelog of the distribution updates for anything announced there that might be changed?
AFAIK there is no reason why the Task Manager Widget would have been removed from a panel, but you should be able to put it back easily by right-click on the Panel and choose "Add Widgets..."
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
