I heard that 5.24 will support fingerprint i am using an asus vivobook 14 X407UAR and manjaro kde . I would appreciate if my fingerprint hardware gets support

Plasma's upcoming fingerprint support does not add any new physical hardware support, unfortunately. You would have to discover which fingerprint reader your system has, and see if that specific device has Linux support.

Unfortunately, there are a good number that won't work.
