After having updated to 22.04.01 LTS from 20.04 LTS, the KDE desktop wallpaper setting is lost and nothing happens when I'm right clicking on the desktop. I've seen several posts reporting this same problem but no solutions. Here is the content of the ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc file:

I had the same issue...once. Can't remember what I did to fix it really. Anywho, you could right click your panel>edit mode. You should see a little sub panel there. Good place to start with.https://imgur.com/a/yMBVqu9
