Hello all, I'm having some problems with my Kde Notifications Applet, that's the output message when i try to put it on desktop.
Code: Select all
file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.notifications/contents/ui/main.qml:154:5: Notifications.JobAggregator is not a type

That's the only thing I see and nothing more, the other applets I'm using works good, this is the only one broken.

I run in some problems with my ArchLinux installations some month ago, having some bad file recognitions and so on, so it could be something related.

Exactly the same issue on the same system:

  • the same error message
  • the same system
    Code: Select all
    inxi -S
    System:
      Host: e7250 Kernel: 5.19.2-artix1-1 arch: x86_64 bits: 64
Desktop: KDE Plasma v: 5.25.4 Distro: Artix Linux
  • almost on the same date but the reason ie rather system restore via rsync

I would appreciate if someone guided me how to debug it, as probably some files are missing or duplicate.

As I lost any hope for relevant support here, may be you find useful that I managed to overcome the bug you described only after restoring the system with rsync from another boot from a live USB boot. Therefore I suppose there must be some process that requires to be stopped - otherwise the bug described may appear during overwrite of some system files.

At least some answer, I'll try to get in touch to the developer to look for an answer or a way to bypass the problem.
