Recently every once in a while the windows on my computer would not be movable. Sometimes I would be able to open a new window through the taskbar, and other times I wouldn't. I tried restarting plasma by running
Code: Select all
kquitapp5 plasmashell
and then
Code: Select all
plasmashell &

but that didn't help. I tried restarting my computer, and that did work. However, that is not a good solution because all of my unsaved work get destroyed, and I have to set up all my programs again.

This typically happens when I move from docking station to other docking station. But not always.

I am sure this will happen again. Is there any type of information I can give that would help?

Code: Select all
uname -r
returns
Code: Select all
6.0.2-arch1-1

Have you made a bug report on https://bugs.kde.org/? Try this to restart Plasma (and avoid a hard restart when the issue occurs):
Code: Select all
plasmashell --replace

I very rarely experience a weird graphical issue caused (I think) by Firefox; I have this command saved in KDE Connect so that I can send it from my phone when I need to.

I'd recommend filing a bug report though, being very specific about what happens, and how and when it happens, maybe including video recording of the behavior if you can.
