I have speakers plugged into my back aux port, while headphones are in my front. In the settings the audio devices are usually one for each device, but with these two plugged in devices it is the same, with the option to change to "Line out" or "Headphones". I would like to use both at the same time, say talk to someone with the headphones and listen to music with the speakers. Because it's set as one device, I can't set audio to each one individually, and the application (discord) I use goes to the system default (speakers) when I would like it to use the headphones.
I am currently using Pop!_Os and have installed kde to it, previously I was using gnome, which the aux devices were shown as individual devices. I have also tried this on Manjaro and I have come to the realization that it is kde doing this. I would appreciate any help or suggestions with work arounds. |
