And yes. That means that all fullscreen games are thinking that they are displayed on 4K monitors because of that (see xrandr).

That's the consequence of that new feature that 5.26 gave us. The X11 apps upscaled are fine looking and I don't want to change old upscaling back.

Is there a way to selectively (preferably by environment variable) upscale those the old way? Some titles by lowering resolution we are making them go crazy:
