I'm pretty sure it's not possible as I've never found anyone who was able to get compiz working on an sis card but thought I'd ask if there was anyway I can enable desktop effects in KDE using an SiS card with the sis driver.
When I enable it I just get the message that it couldn't be enabled.

EDIT: Thought it also might be worth mentioning that I can enable compositing in metacity when I was running gnome.
