Hi

I found out that there was a discussion on bugzilla about this problem on end 2004, with more requests until mid 2006. Now it's end 2008, it seems it's still not possible to configure konqueror to show full path in title bar.
Allthough I just found one single window which actually does it, but I don't no
why, it's from user root on X-Screen of a standard user, so I Kompared all
config files of the two user, but there are no differences ...

I use Debian Lenny with KDE 3.5.10.

Does anybody know a trick??

Chris

works that way in kde4.2beta, might be time to move on up - gotta remember kde3.5.x is sort of stagnant and most of the developers time is focused on 4.x.x

@google01103:
Thanks for the advice, although it's a little bit off topic.

Anyone with an answer to my question?

might wish to post on a debian forum as my 3.5.x Konq shows full path in address bar

I already posted the same question in (german) debian forum, no answer so far.

BTW: I found several postings on the same subject in different forums, and none
of them was answered with a reasonable solution :- . Mine is something as a
last struggle :)

The most sad thing is that kde coders apparently changed konqueror's behaviour
to the actual (in 3.x :) because of kicker showing in the taskbar with many apps
and long paths only "file:/some/lo...". Instead of changing kicker to display the
last part of a path ("...ng/path/to/dir") instead of the first, they changed konqueror.
Typical fighting symptom in place of problem ....
