Anyone know how I can replace the standard KMenu icon in KDE4? I figured it out once before but I can't seem to find the correct image to replace.
Thanks!

You can launch dolphin as root and change the icon /usr/share/icons/oxygen/32x32/places/start-here-kde.png
Also remember to change the icons of other sizes (48x48 and larger/smaller) Please be careful while handling dolphin as root as you get write access to all system files. |

Due to a bug, Dolphin cannot be easily launched as root, it requires tedious steps that do not always work. It is far easier to use Konqueror ( kdesu konqueror /usr ) which works without a problem.

I get the "Cannot talk to klauncher" error, which is mentioned in this bug report

Maybe its a kdesu-specific problem. (kdesudo works fine here too)
...but this is sorta getting off topic. :P |

Thanks! I got it figured out.
By the way, I get the same error with "kdesu dolphin".
