Currently when I delete a file from an external drive (e.g. USB-stick) the file will be moved to my local trash folder in my user folder. I would rather like files to just be moved to the trash on the external device. I already tried creating a .Trash folder (with read/write permission and sticky bit) as outlined by the freedesktop specification (http://www.ramendik.ru/docs/trashspec.html) on the device but it's simply being ignored. How do I get this to work?

Issue confirmed on Trunk. This appears to be a bug in KDE's implementation of the FDO Trash specification. Please report it to the KDE Bugzilla ( bugs.kde.org ).
