As I plugin my flash drive, I get the device notifier popup that it has been plugged it. But I want it to be auto mounted. Can I do that?

Can certainly be done. Click on the top right cashew and select "Add widgets". In the window, select "Install new widgets" and click on "Download new plasma widgets".
Let the list be generated. From the list, find and install "New device notifier with Automount".

After installing, close the window and restart plasma.

Done. How do I restart plasma?

Press Alt+F2 and type in:
