Hi.
Can someone tell me if it's possible to have a clean installation of KDE 4.1.3, i.e not by upgrading from 3.5.10 but directly instal. Thanks for your answer, Guillaume

Maybe your distribution provides a version with KDE 4.1.x?

This debian.net link says KDE 4.1.3 is in the backports of Debian (and so does kde.org). Perhaps you have to install a lower version and then update your system.

Yes, it's what i've done ; but, in this case, it's not a clean installation, it's an upgrade and, to see differences between the two, i would like to have a direct install. |

I doubt there a any (markable) differences. However, you can download the sources of KDE 4.1.3 and build it yourself. Check out the techbase.
