Hi.

Sometimes, at the start of a new session (KDE 4.1.4), i lost the top of windows (where we can reduce, increase or close the window) and i can't use my keyboard too.

Can someone help me, please ?

Guillaume

The loss of keyboard is likely because the Windows do not become focused. This is because the window manager KWin ( which also provides the controls ) is failing to start.

I do not know why this is happening but in KRunner, try typing "kwin --replace &" to resolve the problem. KRunner should automatically take focus so there should be no problem

Thank's for your answer.
I will try next time the problem will appear ; but if my keyboard doesn't work, it will be difficult :undecided:
